Serving size options
Our cakes come in a range of heights with plenty of serving sizes to choose from. We can supply a cake cutting guide to maximize servings however it's always a good idea to order a bit more than you need.
Suggested serving sizes include:
- Dessert - 1" x 2" x 5" portions (either 3 or 4 layers of cake with 2 or 3 layers of filling)
- Party - 1" x 2" portions but cake is then split horizontally to create two layers of cake with one of filling plus top icing (must be a 4 layer cake)
- Coffee - 1 x 1" portions (either 3 or 4 layers of cake with 2 or 3 layers of filling - see photo at left)
- Sweet bite size - 1" x 1" coffee portions but cake is split horizontally to create two layers of cake with one of filling plus top icing (must be a 4 layer cake)

Cake style guide
Standard
Four layers of cake, 3 layers of filling
Perfect for most occasions and able to be cut into a range of different serving sizes depending on your requirements.
Tall (Double barrel)-two cakes in one
Three layers of cake, 2 layers of filling x two cakes, stacked on top of each other (cakes separated by a thin board) then iced as one complete cake. Minimum height 25cm.
Tall cakes provide around twice the amount of servings than a standard cake (minus dowel rods and supports) and are perfect for larger parties.
two or more tiers
We offer various sizes and heights (standard and double barrel) with the option to have a different flavour in each cake (surcharge applies).
